Welcoming one of our retiring adults into your home is a truly special experience. These dogs have given so much love during their time with us, and now they’re ready to enjoy a life of cuddles, adventures, and being spoiled family members. To help answer some of the most common questions, we’ve put together this FAQ section

Retiring Adult Adoption FAQ What does “retiring” mean?
Our retiring adults are dogs who have completed their time in our program. They’ve been a part of our family, and now it’s their turn to enjoy life as a full-time companion in a loving home.
Are they spayed/neutered? Yes. All retiring adults are spayed or neutered before leaving for their new homes, unless otherwise noted for medical reasons.
What is their temperament like? Our adults are well-socialized, loving, and accustomed to family life. Each one has their own personality, and we do our best to match them with families where they’ll thrive.
What about training? Most of our retiring adults have basic manners and are kennel/crate trained. Many are housebroken or very quick to transition into a home routine.
What is the adoption fee? We ask a modest adoption fee that helps cover veterinary care, spay/neuter, and ensures a responsible commitment. This fee is significantly less than the cost of a puppy.
Why should I adopt a retiring adult? Adopting an adult is a wonderful choice if you’d like to skip the puppy stage but still gain a loyal, affectionate companion. These dogs are ready to give and receive love, and they truly appreciate their new families.
